Tech Help

Computer playing up? Let's put things in the correct order.

Friendly remote tech help for homes and small businesses across the UK. Fixed prices, no call-out fees — and if I can't fix it, you don't pay.

  • Fixed prices from £25
  • No call-out fees
  • Not fixed? Not charged.

How it works

Three steps, no fuss.

  1. Book and pay.

Email me the problem and a few times that suit you. I'll confirm the price and time, and your session is booked once your payment goes through.

  2. Connect.

At your booked time, open Chrome Remote Desktop, a free tool from Google, and read me a short code. How to connect →

  3. Watch it get sorted.

You see everything I do on your screen, and you can stop the session at any moment.

What I can help with

  • Installing and setting up apps — Microsoft Office, Zoom, antivirus, printer software and more

  • Email on your computer, phone or tablet

  • A slow, noisy or misbehaving computer

  • Pop-ups, suspicious messages and suspected viruses

  • Setting up a new computer and moving your files across

  • Passwords, two-step verification and backups

  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for small teams

Works with Windows and Mac. iPhones and iPads can't be controlled remotely, so for phones and tablets I'll guide you step by step over a video call.

What I don't do

  • Hardware repairs — broken screens, spills, failed parts

  • Home or office visits

  • Recovering data from a dead drive

  • Pirated or unlicensed software

  • Getting into devices or accounts that aren't yours

My promise

Not fixed? Not charged.

If I can't solve the problem, you get a full refund.

Is it safe?

You're in control the whole time.

  • You start every session.

I'll never call you out of the blue, and I'll never ask for your bank details or banking passwords.

  • You check who's connecting.

Before anything is shared, your screen shows my email address, support@milkfirst.co.uk. If you see any other address, don't share.

  • You stay in control.

You see everything I do and can end the session with one click.

  • You type your own passwords.

If something needs a password, I'll hand over and you type it in yourself.

  • Nothing stays behind.

Each code works once. When we're done, nobody can connect again unless you give me a new code.

  • Your files stay yours.

I don't copy your files or record sessions.

If someone you didn't contact yourself asks you to install remote access software — hang up. That's how scams start, and the rule applies to everyone, including me.

Who you'll be talking to

Hi, I'm Vadim.

I build websites and look after computers for small businesses. I work remotely, which keeps my prices low, and I explain things in plain English — no jargon, no judgement.

FAQ

Good questions

Do I need to install anything?

Usually Chrome Remote Desktop, a free tool from Google. You'll need the Chrome browser and a Google account, and the first setup takes about five minutes. No Google account, or can't install software on your computer? We'll use a small free app called RustDesk instead — on Windows it runs without installing. How to connect →
